Exhaust manifold nut - rounded off!

Just my luck.

I can undo 3 of the nuts, but one of the buggers is rounding off....

any ideas?

can you get a small chisel to it and try and chisel it loose, but make sure you do not chisel head right of if you can. may come loose after 2-3 hits

Sorry, I mean its the downpipe to exhaust manifold nut.

Elite now gone.  Bought an X-Type 4x4.  If there had been an Omega 4x4 I would have bought that instead.  We really liked the Omega, but I wanted 4x4.

The best tool for getting the nuts off the downpipe studs is a wall drive spark plug socket.....

i tried a spark plug socket, and this worked on the other three.

what is that?

As the name implies, the socket drives on the walls/flanks of the nut not on the corners.
