So it sounds as if either the control unit or all motors failed (unlikely) or you've wired it wrong ;)

got my cousin to try it earlier today!!hes a spark and he told me theres power coming through connector but absolutely no life in the seats whatsoever after trying numerous solutions!!i think bottom line is if you buy leather interior off flea-bay make sure you try them first!!unlike me  :-[ :-[trusting someone just because they were very helpful and friendly!!!
has anyone got 3 milkcrates then!!!i need to be driving this bloody car!!! :'(

its even come to a point where i'll even buy a full leather interior again just to drive this car!!just don't want to travel too far.

Until you've got it going, can you put old cloth seat back in?

IIRC, you may need to connec tup 2 reds and 2 blacks

Take the seats out and apply 12v directly across each set of contacts in the plugs, this properly tests each motor just incase you simply have a bad connection. When I changed the seats in the last miggy I had a problem with one plug not quite seating properly .. looked OK but wasn't.

If you find a knackered motor, either change the whole base frame or swap the motors over old to new .. ??

would love too mate but stripped them apart trying different things like swapping windey(tilt back and forward rod)out and putting it in other seat,swapping frames etc......... i am having one of the worst weeks ever!!and also my son loves cars and playing brum(2 year old pretending to drive) and he only left stereo on volume right down over night so already had have to recharge battery ;D

i have noticed markey mark is selling some interior(am i allowed to pursue this or will that be breaking rules?)if i am allowed does anyone know a delivery service that will deliver these for a reasonable price?as it is a right trek for me to his destination :y

Craig, give roadrunners in Saltney a bell, they often have meega stuff.

Dunno on price through  :-?  but with no delivery could be cost effective

sorted now :y sent enquiry online through breakeryard.com and getting one delivered tues :)cost £104 delivered but had to be done!!
thanks for everyones help and advice :y
right now got to think of something else to upgrade now ;D
