Water coming in footwell thru fan assemby!!

Hello all - need some help on this one pls
Ive had a wet passenger footwell previously but dried out carpets and cleaned scuttle etc but since heavy rain yesterday and today carpet soaking again - i actually  saw water dripping from under the glovebox today - Anyway now taken up carpets and removed glovebox and sprayed hose over the car and water is appearing to come in thru the fan assembly by a flap - is there a seal on the assembly somewhere that can perish?? - I've stripped down everything i'm confident of (thanks to those who posted the various 'how to' guides) but need some guidance if i'm to carry on before spending wads of cash on new bits if needed - any help would be greatly appreciated

I take it the scuttle is dry?

Is it water or coolant that is getting in?

Definitely rain water - Water in scuttle drains away ok

You have checked BOTH scuttle drains ??  The big one on the left as you look in, AND the one below the pollen filter  ?? This one is under the flap, back right of the engine bay ??

If that is OK then check the windscreen seal along the bottom edge.

Both scuttle drains not blocked - also windscreen has been replaced due to a crack since the first time i noticed floor was wet

Update on this - water is coming in via seal on door frame at point on center of picture - i think the issue of water dripping in during yesterdays thunderstorm is different issue - is new seal needed or is there other fix ??[

Just replace it.

Oddly, never seen a failed seal on Omega before (unlike my earlier Vauxhalls, where it happened frequently).

Thanks for the advice - Are these doorframe seals from dealers only or are they available online anywhere ???

Have you checked the 'sun roof' drain tubes on your CDX ?

Checked them today - water drains through them and out underneath the car
