Xenon levelling fault ongoing
« on: 20 July 2008, 23:25:19 »

Well I have now changed both suspension sensors for known working ones and am still getting the low beam field of vision fault  :(

I have removed both adjusters from the rear of the headlights, taken them apart to check condition, they seem fine with absolutely no corrosion or signs of damp whatsoever.

What do I try now? I've had this for a year now and still haven't got it sorted  ::)

If I park facing a wall whilst dark, turn on ignition, the lights start to move upwards then go back down again and fault warning appears on the MID. It sounds like something is trying to happen from the headlight area.

Help please  :(

Ideally a chat with a tech2 - rather than changing parts blindly...

Free Tech2 diags at WIM next Sunday ;)

S/W updates will be done, time permitting (and I don't want to distract too much from us learning about Omega geometry, which is the whole point of the day).

Special offer for the WIM day only - anything not needing a laptop (which includes climate updates) will be free, anything needing a laptop will be at standard rates at http://theboy.omegaowners.com

Excellent  :y Mines a manual so I guess climate update is all that is available? Could do with a diag though  :y
