I will need to replace mine soon.  Read some where that the shocks need to be "charged" with a little compressed air before fitting.  Is this correct, or can they just be fitted as normal ?

I have a CDX which the spec says I have self levelling
now I know there is a sensor at front near side which i think is for head light adj
but other day while replacing pads on rear I noticed a sensor on near rear arm does this mean I have self level cos I dont seem to be able to see a tube coming from struts?
Is there a way of checking ?
CDX is unlikely to have it fitted.

Sensor on front & rear NEAR side of car are for both HID levelling. Suspension levelling sensor when fitted is on the rear OFFSIDE radius arm.

Sounds rubbish to me.... the pump will just fill it up once the car is on the ground!
