Hi all just a quicky thinking about getting A/C regassed. I pressed my ECO but so the light is out but A/C pump not kicking in does this have like a safe mode. So if there is no gas in the system the clutch won't kick in thanks in advance.

pressing eco turns the pump off.

Have it in ECO and press Auto, you should hear it kick in, and see the RPM raise slightly.

If theres no gas the pump wont run, it does have a low pressure switch.

Just had mine re-gassed. Had 110 grams left in it (should be 950g IIRC) and the pump was still working but the cooling effect was near enough nil. So if your pump isn't working then I would suspect a leak or it's never been serviced.
Just for the record I paid £55 for a re-gas lube and dye.

There is no gas in it as i pushed a small screwdriver in one of the fill up pipes and nothing came out so i guess i better go and get it filled.
