Just paperclipped the new Elite
« on: 07 August 2008, 02:09:51 »

And wished I never!

13   O2 Sensor 1 Open Circuit
38   O2 Sensor 1 Circuit Voltage Low
19   Incorrect RPM Signal
144   Immobiliser No Signal
145   Immobiliser Wrong Signal

EML is not on, but did flash on me earlier.

Suspect I need to clear these, and see what returns  :(

Vectra Elite Estate doing good post-Omega service but still not as nice to sit in.

One last Omega on the drive, one Corsa on the lawn...maybe they'll go to a good home before too long!

Bleh - just walked down the garage got a can. Fired up first time after that, so I drove it down there and brimmed it!

Imobilisers should be old codes, 19 may be your cause of bad performance.  Reset em and with a bit of luck the others will not return

I'll fix the known poor earth, clear the codes and see what comes back, before aimless swapping out sensors :y

Interestingly, I think it MAY have logged the 19 when it was chugging out of petrol, 'cos it wasn't a happy bunny at that point.

It seems more than happy now I've bunged £75 into it....  >:(  ;D

Thought you said you brimmed it?

If you did, either you have very, very cheap petrol, or you have a rather great dent in the tank, significantly reducing its capacity ;D

I wonder if we should run a book on how long it takes James to get it all sorted and a second on how long before it's running on LPG? ::) ::) :y :y

Lol, don't forget I'd just put 6 litres in there from a can 2 miles beforehand, so it's about right. Petrol was 113.9 iirc ;)

And 3rd, how long before he sells it.  I think he owes me a tenner from the last car that I bet he would only keep 2 months...
