Have to agree.

GM set is around £80 with Pads on TC.

On a budget? Get GM.

Drive like Lewis Hamilton and want some stopping power? Get Brembos!

GM ones can take some abuse as well - with a tip top braking system, they may go off a bit after a severe caning, but always tend to come back quickly ime

i think you may have an issue, as I wouldn't drive anyone elses car and purposely do that to brakes, they went soft a bit quick imho.  do a bleed.

The tyres, sorry, I forgot you had plastic tyres  :-[

Due again then.  Even if it wasn't, I would do it, as they definately went a bit soft.

Sounds like it could do with it, especially if they went a little spongy when they faded. Make sure you pull all the old fluid through as it could have absorbed a bit of water.

I used a G clamp last time to push in the caliper which squeezed out the last of the fluid.

.. and then bleed fresh fluid through from the reservoir?
