Part Number Radiator
« on: 14 August 2008, 14:30:30 »

Hello,

I'm currently trying to get hold of a radiator for a 2.2 DTI 52plate Omega - not wanting to pay vauxhall's stupid prices, I am trying to source it from other places but no one seems able to find the correct rad.

Does anyone know the part number for the radiator for the 2.2 DTI on a 2002 model?

have you tried calling someone like vauxcentre and giving them your reg? I'm sure they'd quote you for the part and they'd be happy to tell you the part no.

I've called a couple of vauxhall based places, but although they'll give me a quote the beggars won't give me the part numbers!

Loo-knee - thanks, but is that not for a 2.2 petrol rather than a diesel? I forgot to add that mine is a manual as well, my mistake.

Sir ffcgary1 - thanks for that mate, I haven't seen them before. They have every radiator for omega engines possible, except the 2.2 diesel!

I'm starting to get depressed at how tricky it is to even find out what part I need, let alone buy and fit it!  :-/ >:( ::)

Lol-knee - you are a Gent. I didn't know that the 2.0DTI and the 2.2DTI both used the same radiator, that should hopefully make my life a little bit more simple.

Loads more parts to get mind, but at least I know what they are!

Thanks, I'm just trying to order one with that part number now. If I can get a cheap one that is...

Hi,
I am looking for info on part number for my radiator, are the above numbers for the omega b as they do not state years.
I have a opel omega b - year 2000 - petrol - manual 2.2.
Everytime I look on sites for any part for my car and put in reg number they say not compatible but I know they fit but with rad I not sure if there are any differences.
I have not removed mine yet but wonder why most advertised state either with air con or not,
But surely it is a separate rad for air con so does it really matter.
I know it does not matter if it is for auto cos I just do not use atf pipes.
Any pics or information about what the differences are much appreciated.
Regards TriciaS.
