Autobox Warning
« on: 29 August 2008, 18:20:43 »

I was driving to work this morning and had to stop at a red light. On pulling away the car went into limp mode and the autobox warning was on the screen. However the eml was not on and no codes have been stored.

I pulled over turned the engine off for about a minute then started the car. The fault has gone off and so far not come back on. Anyone got any idea why this would have come on??

Codes need to be read off by Tech2. There are othe rthreads on various problems such as low fluid or degraded oil quality. do a search on the topic

Yup, a tech2 session would be needed to find out why.

However, a full atf change is probably worthwhile
