Believe oem brake disc suppliers for Omegas are Balo, ATE, and Brembo.

AS I already said .. andyc .. a senior member here will provide parts at trade club prices to those who don't have a TC ... just costs a bit in postage.. :)

TBH .. I can't see why any OOF member does NOT apply to ABS for a card .. the £20 is recouped on the first visit to the dealers.

Anyone can get a card .. ABS membership requires an INTEREST in the omega V6 .. all 4 pot and oil burning owners are naturally jealous of the smoothness and power of the V6 .. you are therefore "interested" in them .. thus entitled to ABS membership and a trade card ... :)
Exactly. Unless your buying performance kit, which is alot more anyway, a general consensus on here is
you cant beet the vx stuff for mileage quality and price. Most people have given bad reports on all else, from mintex to first line to name a phew.
It is the  best advise, up to you if you take it tho.

The abs tc will be on your door mat very quickley. They dont mind people joining just for the card, your supporting a good club, you save money and vx get the business. Everyone s a winner.
For instance £33 for 20 litres of semi synth on tc,
Its more than twice that retail. But if you dont want cheap oil either then...

Entwood, I agree with all that you've said, and I myself have the ABS benefits of the TC thanks to this forum.

Hopefully more poeple will be savvy to this and to those who have TC's.

Perhaps it might be a good idea to put an idiots guide to TC in the OMEGA FAQ's as it keeps cropping up, as well as a nod to those who are willing to buy on your behalf with TC.

Thanks for the nod dbug - my friend who is a BMW specialist quoted me a TC price of 14 quid a side for those same ATE discs from a leading motorfactor!

Chris, of course you're right, once you have a TC why bother going elsewhere for regular consumables such as service items!

Hey that sounds good but what is an ABS card and where do I go to get one?

Actually I've just used my Nogan and figured it out.
The only thing it says on discount parts from VX dealers is "participating dealers"  is this most of them?

Thanks

www.autobahnstormers.org

then: Club Info

then: How to Join

costs £20 a year and gets you a trade Club card which gives trade club prices at participating Vx dealers. My local dealers also give me full trade discount on non-TC items  :)

edit seems like our posts crossed :)

There is a list of "participating dealers" on the Trade Club site.  If unsure phone up your local stealer and ask :y
