O rings throttle body
« on: 09 September 2008, 02:11:18 »

Going to clean the throttle body, is it best to change the o rings from the throttle body to the plenum? The large o ring's not the breather ones, i have those.

Hi Valliant

If I remember correctly they are very expensive for just a rubber ring seal..about £10=00 each but dont quote me on it..better just giving the originals a clean up with some vaseline.

Buy an o-ring kit, you can get the 500 piece kit for a tenner!

Maybe one like this?

Worth checking the size needed for the specific application however its a rather large set!
