Idle Problem
« on: 09 September 2008, 18:20:55 »

Hi Guys,

I have had my Omega for a couple of weeks now. All was OK until yesterday. When I am at a junction or parking up, at slow speed the car seems to chug, almost as if it is going to stall (not possible with auto in know). The car was fully serviced last week by Vauxhall, health check etc, new cam cover gasket, cam belt changed and a new alternator fitted. The revs seem to jump when stationary. Any ideas

I have an 02 plate 2.2 CDX auto

Not entirely sure the 2.2 has a ICV but removing the throttle body and giving it a good clean will help and as said the breathers probably need a good clean........
