I have been quoted £295 for silencers & back box. My local factor quoted £169 for pattern part with 3 year warranty. I am going to get the genuine this time as the will most likely out last the rest of the car.

'dangle berries'!... well , no need to worry about those numbers, they are whats on the invoice. But i dont have whats on the invoice,i have one connector pipe for an estate! W¥%&¥§s! Only noticed having sheared a bolt to the cat section. So i could not put the bugger back together. I plan to drill the bugger straight through and put a nut on the end of the vx bolt. Bugger! Apart from that it went quite well. :-/

Use any exhaust putty on the joins to the down pipes?
