stag 300 lpg kit settings
« on: 11 September 2008, 09:47:34 »

I have inadvertently restored factory settings. I have tried the hit and miss approach and it is running actually very well. The problem is that I am now using about 30% more gas than before. I would rather have the economy than the performance.
Does anybody have the correct settings. I think the main problem is with the settings for the screen below. Any help would be gratefully received.

The pressure sensor is written on the side of the sensor PS-01 or something, IIRC.

The temperature sensors I can't remember, but if you watch the live data it's obvious when you've got the right setting because the readings are correct (they're wildly out otherwise).

It'd be a good idea to take screenshots of the settings once they're right (all very well saying that now, I know ::)).

My knowledge is very limited as to where these components are even located. I have tried to look at the obvious ones but can find no numbers relating to the ones on the software. I had a look at the documentation on the software cd but that was little help in relation to which components are used.  :-/

Hi Rob,

Pressure sensor is PS01
Injectors are Valtek 1ohm on this application.
Temp sensor was something like CTK-01 from memory.

When you calibrate this system, it will run lean (hence rough) - and misfire. You need to move the first two dots upwards, around 13 points from memory - and around 18 points for the last two dots.

Let us know how you get on.

How did you manage to lose the settings?  ::)

Edit - Maria said you called - sorry I forgot to respond, I was under a car at the time  :-[

Sorry, what do you mean by "dots"
No worries about forgetting, it's not been bad just uneconomical  ::)
I lost the settings in a case of "what does this button do"  :-[ should've screen shotted 1st lol.
If you could explain the dots thing I am sure I can get it back as it was.

Cheers  :y

When you autocalibrate, it will give you a line with 4 dots on.

click on one with the mouse, first one - then press the up arrow on the keyboard 13 times. Do the same for the second dot - and then 18 times on the last two. It will get you somewhere close, if you have all the other sensors selected corectly too.

When I had it set up, it would do about 28mpg on gas...
