Can anyone help? I have transplanted a 94. 2.5td into my truck. I am dissapointed with the power,i was hoping that it was around 150 bhp which should be quite good on acceleration even with my caravan attached. When accelerating i can't feel the turbo boost it just gains speed very gradually. The only problem on fitting the engine is the wiring on the ecu(only had to use the minimum of wires)The engine starts fine and runs fine, any help would be appreciated....Thanks.

I'd check the plumbing make sure nothing is leaking, when all is OK chip it.

The omega version is detuned to save it wrecking the ar25 autobox.  You'll get around 120bhp.

If you have a manual, or stronger AR35, you can rechip it back to approx BMW spec.

Probably worth getting a diagnostic check done, in case some part of the wiring is causing a sensor issue, and the ECU is running in limp...
