« on: 23 September 2008, 15:59:30 »

I am getting the Check Coolant massage on the GID have checked the flot in the header tank and it moves free and also checked the conection at the bottem of the tank.

Is it a new header tank with the sensor that i will need do you think.Or is there anything other to check

Thanks

As far as I'm aware it normally means new header tank.  There has been mention of trying descaler in the tank.  Someone with more knowledge than me will be along soon. hth

One other thing have you tried shorting the sensor out underneath to prove it is the sensor. but remember to keep a check on your water level if you do this :y

New tank with sensor will cure your fault ;)
Cleaning is a little hit and miss, dont think the tank is that expensive IIRC.
