« on: 25 September 2008, 18:15:05 »

just found out that i need 4 new tyres on my mig  :'( so i'm thinking that due to the fact i dont like my alloys i might as well get some 2nd hand alloys with good tyres that i like instead, been on ebay and theres nothing close enough to me that are in my price range that i like so looking at other models,i know beemers are 5 stud and if they do fit would i need 5 series or 3 series?if not what other makes fit the 5 stud vaux?

Some one posted a link to a site that listed all the PCD of car makes/models and also inset/offset etc.

I cant remeber the WWW but someone may well pick up on it.   :y

Found this whilst I was looking though.

Helpfull as there are plenty of tyre size questions at times.

Unlikely.  ET needs to be similar, PCD needs to be identical.

Omega is 110PCD, and around 37ET from memory (so double check first!)

I played with the tyre sizes on the calc.

onthe left put 225/55/16 and 275/45/16  on the right and the difference was 0%

Would a pair of 275/45/16 fit on the rear of a Miggy?

TIA.  :y

sorry but hardly anything fits a mig apart from mig wheels ;)

like been said the 5x110pcd is on its own and only Saab are mainstream that fit along with other big new shape vectra / zafira alloys but again these are front wheel drive and a different offset (ET)

you can get concentric spacers to make these alloys suitable though or you'll have to get aftermarkets i'm afraid :-/

I put 2006 Astra alloys on my 98 2.5 Omega, without spaces or anything and have had no problems whatsoever....to be honest the car handles a lot better than with the originals....and looks great also.

if you look at the link provided by craig http://www.alloyguide.com/Vauxhall.php the late astra offset is very close to omega :y
