Found in Glovebox of 2.5TDi CDX

We have found a plastic switch(?) fixed in the rear of the glovebox.
 It is 1.5 inches by 1 inch, and has white symbols on it, which are  an arrow pointing left and an arrow pointing right, a white O and a sort of headlight  symbol.
Does any one know what it is please.

My chill box 'glove' compartment on the Elite used to have that I'm sure. :y  It turns the chill off or on if it is. ;)

Wow never knew that...heard the term and seen the control in a number of the cars I have had...but didnt ever link the two...

......and what a shame that was; loved my sandwiches and bars of cholcolate (that is all you could fit into it!) being kept cold! :D :D ;)

Well if you get one in ill have it, and any ac connectors that go with it. Ill have to move the tellematics to the boot first but i intend to fit a chilled glove box eventually. Keep an eye out for me Mr cav.  :y

mine is only a cd but it has aircon and is a 1998 but i can't find such a thing but maybe a cd spec is still too working class

As stated above in the thread, air-con glovebox was discontinued in 1998.

As stated above in the thread, air-con glovebox was discontinued in 1998.
that makes me feel so much more upper class even though my car may only be a few days too new to have it. :)
