Power steering Pump
« on: 30 September 2008, 12:16:09 »

Think my steering pump is on its way out as quite stiff steering at low speed and noise when on lock..fluid is fine and no leaks.
Would it be wise to fit new or risk second hand unit. Also any idea of time /effort involved in replacing unit.

I have! £600 from Vauxhall  :o  :o, and you'd also need the later pipe work as Vauxhall will only sell you a later style pump!

The Barge Captain told me you could get a reconditioned pump for about £100, which would be a safe bet.
