I have a facelift estate, just wondered what you run you pressures at ?

36 psi all round. one of the other members found it too be a good match of handling and MPG

Granted it sounds a tad high, but I get better MPG over the stock settings, a slighty harder ride and after 4000 miles no iffy tire wear

Im about the same ... 36 rear and 34 front... mines a saloon though ....

used to run 31 all around, tried 36 psi, last couple of tanks after markdtms post.

Got a fraction more out of a tank, maybe 20 miles, but the ride was too hard for my liking. Will drop back down to 31.

32 all round but 235 wide tires on a saloon. Dont really want to go much higher, keeps it out of the ditch.

I pumped my rears up to 36 when I had a heavy load in it about 6 months ago and forgot to let the pressure out. They started to show signs of overinflation (centre wear) so I think that is a little high for my driving.

You have to remember that what's right for someone who does 90% motorway cruising will not be right for someone who does 90% urban driving. Equally, if you fling it around all the time you'll have different requirememnts to someone who drives sedately.

Add to that the fact that gauges are not generally that accurate...

Best to experiment and find what suits you, I say.

Quite so, same goes for the whats the best tires question... Whats best for a sedate high mileage, one set of tires per life time driver, wil very bad for an enthusiastic driver who hates climeing trees, and vice versa. All depends what you want from them...

235 x 17 - 32 psi all round here too. The rears are down to the wear bars now and they have worn slightly more in the centre. So possibly still a touch too high.

i have my 235x17's at 30/31 seems fine for the wear

35psi all round on my Nankang Ditchfinders,seems to suit me.

My saloon is 28.5 front, 31.5 rear. Great mpg. I do lots of motorway driving and the wear is very good.

It's worth getting a decent pressure gauge though because I've come accross so of the automatic ones which are as much as 1psi over.
