Face lift Doors on Prefacelift cars
« on: 11 October 2008, 06:56:25 »

Anyone know if you can use Facelift doors on a pre facelift car?

Can the pre facelift window motors and door cards be used (ie are the locating points the same)?

Has anyone tried it or know if it's poss?

Be interested to hear.

The actual door is the same, not sure about electrickery connections - Vx does seem to like to change stuff for the sake of it.
Door cards? Probably, the dash is still the same, but the PRE face lift look nicer anyway  ::) - they don't have rubberised paint to flake off.  ;)

Just thought!! It won't work. :-? Electric window switches are on the centre console on a PREface lift but were moved to the door on face lift cars.  :(  :y
