omega V6 2.5 Tourer- Dash Emergency lights on
« on: 11 October 2008, 18:10:15 »

Hi,
My 97R Omega 2,5v6 Tourer has had a periodical problem in that sometimes when I start up the engine management light, the TC light, and the seat belt light stay on and I have no rev counter, speedo , fuel or temp gauge working.......Then when I have run down the road a mile or so they all come back on and start working ok and the emergency lights go out...!!!
Whats going on here guys???

Cheers

Is the dash screwed in properly? sounds a bit like it might be loose. might be worth checking :-/http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1152618876

Hi There,
The speedo /Rev counter binnacle is fixed solid...however something else i forgot to note was that when the power to the dash came back on the car made a shudder and seemed to loosen up as though something kicked in again and then all was ok....!!
This has happened twice in recent times and im concerned it may be something on its way out.
