pas pump...
« on: 12 October 2008, 19:22:58 »

hiya, im just unsure where abouts the second threaded hole on the pas pump is, i know theres one ontop but is the other on the rear or what? and also can anybody help me with what route the pas fluid takes such as.. steering rack, up the pipe to the reservoir, to the pas pump out the other side of the pas pump and then back to the steering rack (that was as an example as i dont know)

thanks

Funny you should mention pas pumps, I just changed mine today for the one Marky Mark supplied me with (so far I think it's  [smiley=thumbup.gif] [smiley=thumbup.gif]
On mine, there's a clearance hole top & bottom and a threaded hole at around 9 o'clock that another bracket bolts to. As far as the route the ATF takes ....... er? it just does ::) I know it doesn't go to the rack though .... an Omega has a steering box. ;D  ;D  ;D  :y

.....

There's a pipe with a proper union on from the box and then a rubber hose with Jubilees links the pump to the reservoir. I know there's half a paving stones worth of ATF in the hose!  ::)  ;D  ;D
