May have to swap doorcards over, and think the wiring will be missing.

Rear window demisters were fitted to early Elites.

Defo no wiring in door, and i wouldn't think there will be any at switch end either :-/

To the best of my knowledge, early elites with sat-nav (meaning the T/C button had to be moved) had the function plumbed into the windscreen directional blower thingy do-dar electrical wizardry watsit

Carin fitted from MY1998 (option from MY97.5).  Very early 1998s have TC switch to left of radio, like all earlier cars.  In this case, TC switch was removed, and wiring pushed back when Carin fitted.

Later 1998 and all 1999 had TC switch up in main switch bank.  These cars also have the Carin plug, making retrofitting Carin really easy.
