I wish i had'nt.....
« on: 15 October 2008, 19:29:06 »

Gone to the rolling road day. Each time after the bloke let the revs off, a big nasty cloud of blue/white smoke shot out the back. Seemed to calm down straight away & flew home sweet as a nut. Stopped @ supermarket on way home, came out, switched on, smaller cloud of blue/white smoke on start up, does this each start up now & getting out of the car after a run you get that oily smokey smell of an old car.
Still pulls like a train & doesn't seem to smoke when driving but somethings not right. Given that the top ends got to come apart AGAIN anyway is this a further top end valve problem?

Had a 525d (same engine as the tractor) that used to dump a big black cloud on gearchange. Used to hack my mate off a treat, especially when he had the top down on his posh Z4  ;D ;D ;D
