Part Numbers & Technical Names Please
« on: 22 October 2008, 22:39:47 »

Does anybody know the part numbers for the following:-

1)The rubber 'doughnut' arrangement on the top of the front shocks
2) The nuts that fixes the above and the one that goes on the metal plate at the strut top
3) the rubber bits at the top of the rear shocks
4) Nuts for the top of rear shocks

What is the proper name for the 'donught' thingy??

Can all the above even be bought as individual items or do they come as part of the shock kit??

Thank you very muchly  :D

Hope this helps...

The shock when bought new from vauxhall comes with new mounting nuts and bolts (items 18 and 19); and new M16 top mounting nuts (items 12/13 which are now the same)

By the doughnut I take it you mean item number 9 which is:
Support, shock absorber and the part number depends on which model omega you have.

As for rear shocks you don't have to worry as they actually all come with a new OEM rear unit, it's already built up, the only thing you'll need is the lower mounting bolt:
SCREW, HEX.HD, MM14 X 76, SHOCK ABSORBER TO REAR AXLE    P/N 11098701

and if you wanted the cup it sits in:
WASHER, REAR SHOCK ABSORBER TO REAR AXLE    P/N 90445395

Hope this helps, if the 'donut' isn't the right one, just pick the numbers you need names and part numbers for and i'll get them on here.

Speak to your local factor as most do KYB/Sachs/Boge fitting kits which have the top assembly.....and much cheaper than Vx!
