The displays gone a bit mental on my omega, is this fixable or should i just get a new unit? I know vectras have a smilar/same one. What do i need to look for thats compatible with my N reg CD

can be re.conned but probably cheaper to get from a breaker. Not sure if these are paired with the radio though? Suspect not, but not sure. Anyone?

Not paired. Make sure replacement has same colour plug connector. Look here for instrument panel removal. :)

only CID needs pairing to the 2013/2015 radios.

Try and get replacement from same spec, engine size, and transmission, otherwise it will need tech2 to re-program.

Early type MID, with yellow and black connectors. These are prone to missing pixels.

Not coded to radio, but needs to have come from same size engine and gearbox type, else will need a quick chat with Tech1 or Tech2

hmm, ill have to hope my local scrapper as a 2.5 v6 manual in then! If not i might try grab one with the two connectors and hopefully just replace the screen itself (I assume thats the bit thats failed?)

Make sure you see it working first - the majority are fubar now.

IIRC, the ribbon is glued both ends....

Is there any way to test them when theyre removed from the car? which pins power it up
