oil level switch on a 2.0ltr 16v
« on: 25 October 2008, 09:17:47 »

where is it please, the car oil level was not showing on the dip stick and the owner says hes never seen an oil level warning on the dash display. The car is a 99 cdx face lift so i would expect the car to give the warning. Just doing a bit of lazy research before i see him next. Tia.

On the side of the sump pan, behind the oil filter (or was on mine).  The old engine had one (mine's a CD), but the replacement didn't (must have been from a GLS).  Only realised after i'd fitted it - and wasn't going to pull the engine back out to swap sumps!
