Im sure this has been asked a million times before....but the search isnt letting me search saying im spamming the search or summing :S

Anyways, are all cruise stalks the same? i know diesel ones are different, but are all the petrol ones the same. i.e. P pre petrol stalk ok for a X reg (facelift)

I would say so yes.

I bought off ebay a cruise/indicator stalk which was off a 1998 Elite which is now fitted and totally operational on our 2001 2.6 MV6 auto.

Even looks the same as the wipers one so blends in perfectly too if you know what I mean !!

What else did you need to do besides fitting new stalk to get cruise up and running?

all vauxhall engines take the same cruise stalk, its only the BMW 2.5 TD which has the 2 pin stalk.

The 2.2 DTi takes the same stalk as petrols  :y

What else did you need to do besides fitting new stalk to get cruise up and running?

Just 5 mins on Tech2 via marksdtm in nottingham. All in cost me 30 quid inc the stalk.

i got my stalk and fitted it, but i need to know the part number for a facelift clutch switch, and how much they cost from vaux?

Make sure you get a genuine and not a 'pattern' type, suggest you get someone with a TradeCard to check the price. I paid £25 from fleabay and got pattern, I think genuine (new) is about £35ish but not sure. I should have listened to TheBoy :( :( :( :( :( :( :( 'cos he was right. :y
