Long story coming!!
Had a front end bump in April. Mainly cosmetics damage which has all been fixed. The 2 front wheels hit a kerb at around 60mph with the steering lock on and took side impact, nearside was outside of wheel and off side was the inner side of the wheel.
I have been experiencing vibration and feedback through the steering wheel at 40mph and above 75mph.
I now have 4 new wheels and tyres and now get vibration and steering feedback above 75mph. The only thing to add to the accident is that when I attempted to reverse off the reservation I didn't appear to have any drive, the rear wheels were in good contact with the road.
Immediately after the knock the vibration and heavy knocking started, this has diminished with the new wheels and tyres but the above 75mph issue still exists.
Wheel bearings have been checked, all brakes have been checked, bushes and track rods have been checked. I am at a bit of a loss now. It seems a bit odd that it is not constant and only related to speed. The same exists when in neutral and with clutch in.
Help!!
Any thoughts would be helpful
