Hi All

I have a strange problem.. The fuse on the central locking module keeps blowing, it does not straight away also the courtesy light comes on when i press the rear heated seat buttons......Any ideas

Insulation worn through on a wire causing a short circuit? :-/

Any idea where to start looking ?

Have you had any trim out of the car (including seats) recently that may have caused wiring to be disturbed or become trapped when parts were refitted?
If any mods or changes have been made always recently they could be the best place to start looking.

I have not removed or added anything in the last year, it is driving me mad, there is one other thing i forgot to say and that is that the rear fogs light have also stopped working...the light on dash lights up to say that the fogs are on but the lights on back of car do not light (its not the bulbs)

wonder if a tech 2 session will help diagnose? Dont know how involved it gets with car electrics. Maybe give The Boy on here a pm. In the meantime fill an your profile with location and car details. Makes it easier to help you. Weird one though.

fog lights not working will be the wires running down the hinge on boot lid broken ! if the central locking for the boot is broken or bare that will be the cause of a few problems matey
