2.2 control indicator light

started the car today and drive for 10 min control indicator light came on  :o what s this ?? i didnt have that light in older omega ... any way i turn the engine off and put it back on
the light went away and didnt come back :-? what is that mean?

Control indicator light? Which one?

Do you mean the one that looks like a spanner? Or the one that looks like an engine?

yes car start first time . drive fine sound fine just light came on

with out any effect on perfomance...

i live in kings norton close to maypole

It may disapear after a number of good starts.

Still need to get the codes read, bit far for me, I live North B'ham, SC side.

Could be, but I'm guessing early start of cam sensor failure.

the light came back on like yestrday  :'( :'( what i notice is it happen

when car is cold once warm up it wont come back agine .

is that possible that  ATF is low  i changed  the filter and gasket last

week ?  and we only could put 5 liter in there

You need the codes read!

As said, could be an early sign of cam sensor failure.

 how much it cost to read the code? where is cam sensor and how much ? can i change them myself?

if it is deffo cam snsor i have a brand new in box gen vx one cost me £60ish will let it go for £45  :y
