Hi guys, as above two questions, easiest one is what does the grid on the back side window(s) that says alarm in middle do?  :-/ there is two little sensors at either end too.

Next 1, i have got some bulbs that have gone on my climate control panel.   Anyone know the vaux code for these and how i remove the trim panel?

Oh and a pic of the reverse of one so can see just how many bulbs have blown would be a bonus.....

The panels are glass break sensors ...... surprisingly!

thats what i thought but seem pointless if there are interior sensors anyway?

To remove climate panel...remove stereo...remove ashtray (unclip the ash tray itself giving access to the 3 screws holding it in place) then carefully reach into the stereo hole and up behind the wiring after a bit of searching you will find a thick solid metal bar...it pulls downwards to release the centre console bit...you can then access back of the climate controle

Just looked at the how too and there are two types of bulbs on there. How would I know which ones I need? :-/

And it says there are only 5 bulbs???

Looks like about 4 of mine have gone but there are still a few working???  :-/ :-/ :-?

Thanks Richard A.   How much are these bulbs at the stealers? Can these be got off ebay? Does anyone know what they are called.
I think i recall hearing capped and capless about bulbs at one point  :-/

Ultrasonics wont work if you have the load net or a dog guard fitted so break glass detectors help protect the load area.

Glass break sensors.

5 bulbs in climate panel - 3 for backlights, 2 for illumination of buttons via lightguides. Auto indicator is LED, and reliable.  Change all 5 together, about £1 each from stealer iirc. Slightly cheaper from Farnells, but min £30 order. Forget the eGay.
