Heating Problem

Hi

Kinda new around the Omega but found that the heating isnt working in my CDX 02 plate

What can i check and where i.e its alright saying check heater matrix but how do i access it and pressures etc

Hi mate. Is it using any water?? A common fault with these is the hbp valve ( heater bypass valve). Mine had gone when I bought mine and I think the guy selling it thought it was the head gasket thats why I got it so cheap!! Its a plastic cylinder with 3 pipes going into it and its a sod to get to!! It sits over the bellhousing under the skuttle panel. Mine took me 2 and a half hours to do!! Hope this helps. Trademeister

If you're going to investigate changing the HBV (Heater Bypass Valve) which is a known and common problem, read this...

Ok No loss of coolant any other checks I can try please

This also seems intermittent as at one point i had heating the when i started the car again it was gone
