Non-Starter!!
Someone please help.
I`ve been the happy and content owner of 2.5tdi auto for over 3 years, but just recently she wont start. The engine cranked and turned for a while then stopped. Now all i`m getting is a faint click from a green relay set in the box above the n/s/f wing. All electrics still work, heater, windows lights etc, tried jumping from other car incase poor battery but same thing. Checked all fuses i can find and any wiring i can reach. Can anyone give me any clues?

was it turning whilst being jumped or just still clicking

Still clicking - but its just a single click as i turn the key, from that relay.

this is back from my old 205 gti days but try beating the starter motor up with a hammer! hit the head of it!

this is based on Peugeot ownership though!!!!!!!! so i aint responsible for my advice if it breaks something!

sounds like selenoid on starter motor. try tapping it with something heavy whilst turning over. still could be other things but that is 1st thing i'd check. diesels suck alot of ampage to turn over so make sure got a good supply of battery power.
