Sorry, only a GM 'TECH 2' can read and adjust everything on an Omega, no matter which engine 2.0,2.2. 2.5, 2.6, 3.0,3.2 petrol, 2.2 & 2.5 diesel, then the 'TECH 2' is only as good as the operator !!!!!
Not an easy piece of kit to be proficient with without GM training. ::) ::)

Just for clarity...

'Cheapo Tech 2' is the CD you can buy off ebay for £30 or so. It needs a laptop with a 'proper' COM port. The USB adapters seem to be problematic at best and plain do not work at worst. It will read your fault codes and reset an airbag light.

A proper Tech 2 is about £2,500. It provides full dealer integration with your car. As stated above, a few members have these. Details are available from TB's website.

What engine and year is your CDX? Please add this to your profile as it helps us answer your questions. TIA.
