cutting out

Help my 3.0l elite keeps cutting out. Its meant to be going into the garage tommorow, but if anyone is from the Manchester area and wants  to help out someone in need send me an e_mail Hewitt159@hotmail.com, I know its probabley the ICV but have no mechanical skills :(  HELP......

Have you tried paperclip test..

Its the usual behaviour cutting out approching junctions slowing down ect sometime starts straight away but sometimes have to wait 3-5mins before it will fire up again.

seems to be crank sensor..try paperclip test..

Or if you fancyy a trip up the M60 I have a 'Cheapo Techh II' that might be able to read any codes that maybe logged - I need time to borrow my Dad's lappy first though.  ;)
