Rear window demister
« on: 02 December 2008, 13:15:59 »

I have searched but nothign came up for 'rear windows demisters'.

Can I retro fit rear demisters from an Elite into my pre-facelift CDX? I don't know the year of the Elite, sorry.

If it is possible, where do they go, and where do the switches go?

I'm starting to think this is only available on facelift models but I'd really like them in mine.

Thanks

To do: Replace brake discs and pads; adjust already replaced shoes; check for leaks in oil cooler, cambelt area, crank seals, sump, dipstick; replace osf door; replace a tyre; clean, MOT.

Rear demisters only fitted on the very early Elites. Not worth the hassle of trying to retro-fit :)

What's involved exactly? I'm going to be spending some time on/in the car soon and don't mind taking time doing the demisters.

I've had most of the rear interior out before so I'm ok doing that too.

Is it likely the wiring is in place for these?
