Any air leaks from the air box towards the plenum? Does the ICV need cleaning?

On the 2.6 it will be either the airflow meter or coil pack(s) :y
what was the exact fault code?

not sure what the code was it just said oxygen senser then multiple misfires on different cylinders the garage said change the plugs as the oxygen senser may be showing because of the misfires the engine management light was taken of and hasnt come back on but it still has a misfire and no power you can rev it when stationary in park and overcome the misfires but it is still lumpy and lacking a sharp pickup

Check very carefully around the cam covers for oil leaks first, then check for oil in the plug wells and then if all good check the Heater by pass valve at the rear of the plenium on the drivers side, for leaks or signs of past leakage, oil or water on the DIS pack will fuber the dis and this will cause the problems that you describe.

Almost deffo ht leads.

With the recent cold snap and damp it will cause this problem.

Just, IMHO, wasted money on maf and dispack. (readings with multimeter across new dis pack and old dispack were the same)

New set of ht leads from Europarts and all good.

For £50-ish you can get a mobile diagnostic tuner to visit you and check all items.

Wish I had done that BEFORE buying a DIS pack and MAF

Diagnostic on all sensors if they are fine then 99.9% ht leads

I would try disconnecting each coil pack individually to narrow it down rather than buy a whole set. :y
