ICV what and where is it?
« on: 05 December 2008, 10:49:34 »

Hi all,  ;)

Ive been reading your posts, and I seem to be having the same problem as a few of you. My 2.0 Lt Auto, keeps stalling, not only when I pull up but when I'm moving (last night I was doing 70 mph), it just cuts out. It starts on demand.
Some of your posts seem to suggest the ICV, and a good clean. Could you please tell me where to find said ICV, and how to clean it?
(PS what is an ICV)?  :-/

Many thanks, Mick

idle control valve. Have a look in maintainence section. There is a guide in there.

Ps may as well do the breathers while your at it.

Not going to be idle valve if it cuts out at speed because thats not an idle setting!

Read the fault codes using the paper clip test and report back....I suspect crank sensor
