I could do you a power steering pump too if needed but tbh I havent worked out how to get them off...perhaps I should have a read of Mr Haynes and see if its at all enlightening...

The S reg CDX I have here has a CCR600 stereo in it...not sure if its still the same on the V reg or not...do you have a phone built in?? Might be you need a CCRT700 unit...

Yeah i know the feeling about mr haynes, i had to put on facebook what book i last read and strangely it was a haynes manual, not going to know if i need a pump yet, but sounds like a fair chance :-(

Looking at the CCR600 stereo its what i had in my old R plate CDX and as far as i know there is no phone built in, how would i know?? think CCR600 would do.. god its sounding like i know what im on about

If you dont have Bose and you shouldnt have as its not an elite then you will most likely need a CCR600 or a CCRT700...as its a later one it may be the latter...if its a CCR600 then I have one here :)

no its not a bose system, its not an elite im assuming a CCR600 would work on the steering controls and run the multichanger??

Yes it would I'm sure...mine has steering wheel controls and a CDC2 and works fine with it...

Really depends I think on whether you have a facelift Omega or not...if it crept into the facelift era then you probably are meant to have a CCR2006...sounds unlikely though if it has a CDR500 in it currently as the facelift centre console is entirely different looking

Ok so should be CCR600 or if phone is built in CCRT700...

I would think its a CCR600 if you have a CDR500 plugged into it as I would imagine the wiring would be different for the CCRT700...

Anyway I have a CCR600 here if you want it :) Also have a CCR800 Bose head unit here with code but just checking if you can just plug this straight into a CCR600 slot and upgrade the rest of the bose system as and when, or not!!

Yeah CCR600 sounds good to me :) I would imagine if you can just stick the CCR800 in so its Bose ready when you put in the rest then you may as well as it makes little to no difference to price :) I dont know the answer yet so we will see :)
