how do you get the plastic caps off the glow plugs its driving me mental

Dont think anyone knows mate, fiddled with a dti galaxy the other day. The caps where all in one connected to each other and just pulled off a bit at a time, not enough slack in the plastic to get them off one at a time. However the galaxy motor is i tiny paperwate compared to the mig td(just re read 2.2 tdi) and ive never layed eyes on the glow plugs so cant help. I would presume they just pull off but you obviously have tried that?

I used to have a TD Jeep Cherokee, and to get the black caps off the top of the glowplugs on that thing I had to pull em off with pliers - bl00dy tight fit they were

if its the same as a 2.2 vectra then it was one or 2 screws to undo,one in the side i think and it just lifts off, was such an easy job to do it took 20 mins to change all four glowplugs!!!! so easy i forget what i did exactly but it was a pleasant experience compared to the six in the 2.5!!!
