« on: 09 December 2008, 19:18:19 »

thanks to all that replyed to my crap heater prob.it hasnt got vaccum problem.my pipes are on correctly,i am now in process of removing bypass valve all together, doing away with it joining up the heater pipes, and blanking off the vaccum pipe.that is the way most cars are ,i will reroute heater pipes away from dis pack, there is enough room ,so in theory, hot water should be direct in to matrix then out ,and hopefully hot heaters, will let you all know how it goes when finnish, and of any pitt falls, cheers

If it is plumbed up properly already then your mod wont make any difference except lose you some cooling from the a/c in summer.

A working bypass valve offers little resistance to water flow, it is simply a 'switch' to send water through the heater or straight to the block feed pipe.
