After changing my cam cover gaskets on the 96 v6 2.5 I have, I still notice oil collecting on the sump. The only place I can think of is it's coming from one of the pulley seals. Anyone know how hard it is to change these? I think the one that's leaking is the larger lower center pulley?

Crank pulley seal, belt and bottom toothed pulley needs to come off to do that job. Not nice.

But it "may"be residue running down the back of of the cam belt cover, or the cam covers are still leaking. Did you use black goo(locktite 598 or whatever the superseeded stuff is called now) around the half moons?

Remember there is an oil pressure sender down there as well....

Mine has a minor leak in front, down on the left side looking from the front of the car and I hope it's the oil pressure sender. Is it difficult to do? Do I change the sender or just take it out and put some plumbers tape on the thread?

I've checked the cam seals and all fine. Also applied the correct sealent. Checked oil sender and that also looks fine. Doesn't leak on just idle, only when being driven. Any instructions how to do crank seal?
