2.5 TD filter thing
« on: 14 December 2008, 15:42:19 »

Hi
I have a 2.5 td P reg. My question is that there is a small filter at the back right hand side of the engine bay(looks like a fuel filter). There is a rubber elbow top and bottom but nothing else, should there not be a pipe or something in these elbows? What job does the filter do?
Regards :) Tim

No experience of the Omega TD but guessing its either a breather filter or some aftermarket type device that someone has fitted?

You say there is nothing in either the in or out ends?  If the car is working fine, then leave it!!   ;D

The car is a bit down on performance and the climate does not work properly. I noticed the filter whilst trying to find a vacuum leak.

Hi again
It is above the nsf turret and I have found a ppe about 3mm diameter so will connecct it. Would this affect my climate or shall I keep searching fo a vacuum leak.
