Facelift mirror dismantling
« on: 16 December 2008, 21:33:35 »

I've got a "new" mirror to replace one that was destroyed by an idiot on a country lane. Problem is that the new one is the wron colour. Can anyone advise how to remove all the plastic in order to respray please?

Thanks, Ian

If you're not that confident with taking it apart, but are handy with masking tape, mask it all up.

That's what I did when I needed to spray up a mirror for my old Astra GSi.
