Funny wereing noise.

I have just changed the two front disks and replaced all of the disk pads (front and back) plus had two new tryes fitted at the front P6000's.

Now when I am driving i can hear a funny wereing noise cominng from the front, checked everything is OK, but I am not sure what else to check for.........any ideas
 :'(

check that the back plates for the discs arent rubbing on the discs,quite common for them to ge a little out of shape with age and rub on the back of the discs.

jack up one wheel at a time and rotate it a few turns, you should hear the culprit.

Hi Matey,
I have just experienced the same problem when changing to a new tyre, spoke to the tyre centre that fitted it and they reckon its the rubber compound of the tyre causing the noise, I too thought it was a wheel bearing at first.

Have just fitted a new set of tyres to mine, and it making the same noise. hopefully it will settle down it time. ::)
