CCR 2006
« on: 19 December 2008, 16:38:53 »

Turned on the head unit this afternoon to find I cant get any sound at all from the unit, reset the security code and not even the usual beep from that!

Everything works as it should CD/Radio/Tape and the controls from the steering are working.

Does any one know if there is a output mute function.

Cheers Mark

although without sound, does it show the usual visuals on display?

try removing the whole headunit and replacing, incase its a loose connection

my ncdc2013 gave up one day in my elite, display went off and everything, after a stroke of bad luck turned-good, the car battery went flat and when i recharged it, the unit "re-found" its connection and worked fine ever since

Thanks for reply Danny, the display is as normal.

I had to replace the battery 6 weeks ago, usual set up of resetting code and unit worked fine.

Will try disconnecting the battery.

Had Trafficmaster fitted as part of Norwich Union "Pay As You Drive" Insurance but it has its own seperate speaker.

Tried disconnecting the power supply to the unit and re entering the code all to no avail! Still no sound!
