idol switch

hi happy chrimbo to you all
ive recently had problems with my omega cutting out when coming to a stop,garage guy cleaned out the idol control switch?so now it revs up on its own espeacily when you put the fan on?garage guy reckons it will do for a week or so but will sort it self out?can any one help please!

You need to clean the throttle body, breathers and idle valve.....just doing the idle valve will result in a short term and temporary fix!  :y
